Sisters and Brothers,
We know that all airport workers help keep our airports safe and running smoothly, despite global health crises, climate disasters, and busy travel seasons. Yet many of us are underpaid and under protected.
That’s why we are joining with other airport workers to demand the respect, protections, and family-sustaining wages and benefits we deserve! The good news is that many of our elected representatives in Congress heard our calls for justice on this issue and recently introduced legislation that would force airlines and airports that receive federal funding to provide good, union jobs—from the curb to the cabin.
Click here to urge your Members of Congress to support good jobs at our airports.
The bill, entitled the Good Jobs for Good Airports Act of 2022 (HR 8105/S 4419), would establish a fair wage and benefits for airport workers, help address the deep inequity in our aviation system, and help ensure airports are safe, secure, and accessible for everyone.
Take a few minutes now to send a message to your Members of Congress urging them to support the bill. Click here to send your message today.
In unity,
