DISTRICT 9 AT&T WEST & DTV BARGAINING
AT&T Bargaining Bulletin #20
May 14, 2024
Since our last report, things have continued to move as we meet in a subcommittee with the company. However, the movement has been prolonged as we discuss improvements to Appendix E. The company’s stance is that the employees knew what the job was when they were hired. We have reiterated in detail that the job has evolved over time, and improvements must be made.
Along with improvements to Appendix E, wages and pensions are still open items that we need to start seeing improvement on. With the rising cost of inflation, we understand people are struggling, and we continue to convey that to the company.
We want to acknowledge the members who continue demonstrating UNITY and commitment to fighting for a fair contract. Your efforts are not just evident, but they are the driving force at the negotiating table. We recognize that they have fueled and are the movement we need to achieve a fair contract.
Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much. – Helen Keller
