CWA District 9 has reached a second tentative agreement

CWA District 9 has reached a second tentative agreement.  The first tentative agreement was rejected by the membership on September 6.

We do not have specifics on what the changes are;  however one big change is that there is now full retroactive pay, meaning that the wage raise will now be retroactive to the contract expiration date, bringing the compounded increase to 15.01%.  In the first tentative agreement, there was no retroactive wage increase.

As for our Union sisters and brothers in CWA District 3 (Southeast) they too have reached a tentative agreement.   This ends their 30 day ulp (unfair labor practice) strike.

Stay tuned for more information!
