Disaster Relief for CWA Members and Retirees in District 3

CWA
LOCAL LEADERS

October 1, 2024

Dear Local Leaders and Officers:

As you have all seen on the news, huge parts of the Southeast have been devastated by Hurricane Helene. Communication with and travel to many areas is still difficult, but our locals have been doing whatever possible to deliver supplies and provide immediate assistance to our members and retirees. And many of our members have been working long hours to help restore essential services.

Today, I am requesting that Locals and Members across our District and Nationally consider providing financial assistance to our CWA family members that were affected by the recent hurricanes. Our members who work at AT&T are already stretched thin after their month-long strike.

Monetary donations can be made by checks addressed to CWA District 3 Disaster Relief Fund and marked as Hurricane Relief. You can also make donations to the District 3 Disaster Relief Fund online.
