Thank you to everyone who participated in moving our Call Center Bill out of the Assembly Appropriations Committee. Because of your persistence and hard work, AB 1677 is now in the Labor, Public Employment and Retirement Committee of the Senate.
This bill is scheduled to be heard mid next week so let’s keep up the pressure!

As we mentioned before, AB 1677 is important to CWA members and workers across our state because it sends a clear message to large corporations — “keep jobs in California or lose out on taxpayer subsidies!”
