As you may be aware, Local 9003 has been impacted by AT&T’s recent layoff announcement in our two Directv/Premises Technician locations – Pacoima and Lancaster.
In order to assist our affected employees as well as prepare for any future layoffs, the local will be having a presentation at the local (located at 825 S. Victory Blvd, Burbank) on Thursday, February 20 at 6 pm. This meeting will include speakers who can assist our members with job training, resume writing, unemployment insurance, etcetera. All of our members are welcome to attend! We will also be scheduling a meeting in the Antelope Valley area in the near future. Once we have a confirmed date for the Antelope Valley meeting, we will post the information online.
