You should be receiving your ratification ballot in the mail any day now. Please be sure to follow the ballot voting instructions so that your ballot will be counted. For the ballot to be counted, your name and local number must appear on the reverse side of the prepaid return envelope. Also, to be counted, you must sign in the space provided on the reverse side of the prepaid business reply envelope.
On our recent interactive Zoom tentative agreement explanation calls, there were several questions that were asked. We posted all of the questions and answers on our social media.
There were four unanswered questions from our Zoom contract explanation meetings. Here are the answers we have thus far:
Question 1: With the Retro Active Wage increase, will it include the 20% increase?
Yes, the 20% will be applied to the Retro, including OT payments.
Question 2: BCB2, how does it apply to our 2009 DTV Premises Technicians?
The 2009 Prem Tech (DTV) will continue to have the BCB2 option that was available to them in the 2016 CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement).
Question 3: Does the additional monthly healthcare cost for a working spouse and/or tobacco use apply to Retiree premiums?
No, the tobacco use does not apply to Retirees.
Question 4: In previous years, if I had the PPO Option 1 and did not respond to the annual Open Enrollment, I was automatically moved to Option 2. Is this still true or has this been resolved?
We are awaiting an answer to this question. We will post the answer once we receive it.
