We know that you and your co-workers continue to deal with the profound impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, both at home and at work. At CWA, we’re doing everything possible to make sure that the airlines and our government are protecting CWA agents on the job. To that end, we believe it’s crucial to know when a co-worker has been diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19 in order to avoid possible contagion and/or spread of the disease.
Several unions representing airline workers, including CWA, continue to gather information from members about positive cases and exposures in order to ensure a safer work environment for everyone. We are not asking you to disclose confidential information, but we would like your assistance so that we know where there are problems that need to be addressed. Many members have already provided crucial information about cases of COVID-19 at work.
If you have not already done so, please complete this COVID-19 case reporting form to help CWA identify locations where workers have tested positive or been exposed to COVID-19 or have previously tested positive and recovered.
Reporting is entirely voluntary and confidential. If you would like to share your information or information about a co-worker with CWA, please click here to complete the form.
In unity,
CWA Agents
