Attacks on voting rights across the country are only ramping up. Just last week, Texas State Legislators fled the state to avoid the passage of an anti-voter bill that would have made it harder for voters in Texas – especially black and brown voters – to cast their ballots.

And Texas isn’t the exception — anti-voter laws are cropping up across the country. At least 230 new voting laws have been proposed in 43 states to make it harder to vote.*

We need to pass the For the People Act to make sure we protect everyone’s right to vote.

The For the People Act is the boldest democracy reform legislation introduced in decades. It will offer new protections for voters and voting rights to make sure we protect everyone’s right to vote. If we want a functioning democracy that works for the people, it is essential we fight to get this bill passed.
