February 1st is fast approaching and the company has not backed down from its position to suspend (without pay) any employee up to 60 days if they A. are not completely vaccinated or B. if they don’t have an approved religious or medical exemption/accommodation by their February 1st deadline! We are hearing action (suspensions) may be taken on January 31st.
If you are called into any meeting with management, make sure that you ASK FOR A UNION STEWARD!!!
CWA has taken a stand against the vaccination mandate and will do everything in its power to represent any employee who is negatively impacted by this mandate.
CWA local 9003 will have extra officers and stewards on hand on January 31 and February 1st to make certain we are fully prepared to represent any member who is called into a meeting with management!
